ork’s Dragway is only a few minutes drive from home, and so it’s prudent to take the lad down the strip every so often, just to make sure everything is working in the engine, braking and drivetrain areas.

Without going into detail about the drag strip process, which you can read about here, I just want to use this as an opportunity of showing off a few of pictures that Charlie took.

As is the norm for taking a Ka down the strip, everything you go up against is quicker to the bottom of the quarter mile point, although some vehicles were certainly given a scare off the line!

This blue turbocharged MR2 is one example!

Now I know that some people have taken it upon themselves to be sarcastic about the above set of pictures, but hey, Kermit’s still on the road, eh?
