Ka Klub Cheshire Meet

O

n the 11 October, 2002, Rach of the Ka Klub organised the Cheshire Ka Klub Meet.  Eleven Kas made the trip to the Chester Services, just off the M56.  And of course, it’s far more fun to get there in a convoy!  Even if there are only two of you, and the lead car seems to be doing its best to lose the other two, with last minute lane changes, and suchlike!  /Sorry Katie!/

After meeting at the motorway services, we all headed off to a museum.  We went for a wander around in the museum later on that afternoon, but of more immediate concern was getting the balloons blown up, and Kermit decorated in celebration.

This is not a very charming picture and it is posted here under extreme Dervy duress!

In the interests of celebrating Charlie’s birthday, many Klub members present were put to good use blowing up balloons and decorating the Ka.

Fortunately, with a bit of persuasion, I convinced people that it wasn’t a good idea to let off party poppers inside Kermit, just all over the outside.

Even so, poor Kermit was soon covered in balloons and streamers.  Just look what they did to poor Kermit!

After taking time out to check out the museum exhibits, we popped out for a little drive, to scare little kiddies and animals with the sights and sounds of eleven Kas . . . or was it ten?  I can’t remember!  Actually, it was eight by this stage.

And there’s nothing quite like proper action shots of a Ka Konvoy!
