he Interford show will always have a special
place in my memory, because it was at Interford 2002 that we first put Kermit on show. Two years on, well yes the lad has changed a
little bit, and so the show has too – but all up, it’s still held at the
Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, not far from Warwick. And of course the last time we were at Interford, in 2003, this was during the JOGLE Roadtrip. So there’s quite a bit of history between Kermit and Interford!
This year, we had more Kas than ever. Better, they had organised us in one big long curve. Now although some people initially didn’t
like the sound of this, it meant that from each end of the stand, there were
Kas as far as the eye can see – and this is quite some distance!
Perhaps one of the best aspects about shows is
that it gives you the opportunity to catch up with old friends, but by the same
token it also gives plenty of opportunity to not talk to people, usually quite by accident!

This year I was spending roughly one third of my
time on the Klub stand, one third at the Ford Sierra Owners Club stand, and the
other third of my time hiding from everybody in either the museum, or taking a
peek at other cars looking for ideas.

Welcome to some new member Kas, and some old
friends (even if they’ve undergone heart surgery since!).

This gorgeous red Ka is, at the time of
writing, for sale. It’s equipped with
the VAD turbocharger.
I don’t think this “Too Fast Too Furious”
Probe is for sale, but aside from the ridiculous (in my opinion) front
wiper, it looked very tidy from the front, and the colour is excellent!
