Interford 2003

Interford will always have a special meaning to me, since it was at Interford 2002 where I first put Kermit on
display. This year, it was different -
Kermit has enjoyed a few modifications between then and now, and was also
wearing his NSPCC gear and carrying our Kamping gear.

This
shot shows the approach to the show; the Ka Klub stand is to the very far right
of the shot.
Although
overcast in this picture, the weather did improve – considerably!
The
Ka Klub had approximately twenty Kas on show - twice as many as last time - and
I met a good number of new members, as well as refreshed friendships with people
I already know. If you were at the
Interford show, and you know me, and I didn’t get around to chat with you, my
full apologies! I had a busy meet!

The
green balloons are not ordinary décor for our Kas, but are here showing support
for the John O’Groats to Lands End Charity Road Trip
appeal cause: the NSPCC’s “Full Stop.”

During
the meet, I was invited to judge the Ford Sierra Owners Club stand cars, which
I did. All of the cars judged were of a
very high standard, and were in use every day, many as family transport - this
is good to see!
These
shots show the Sierra Owners Club Stand.

The
JOGLE Krew also spent some considerable time tapping other car clubs for their
spare change, and we managed to raise over £100 though this (and we all
managed to get sunburnt, too). Charlie had promised to wash the four Kas
if we raised more than fifty quid, well we let her off washing the Kas (because
there was nowhere to do it), but instead put around two hundred quid,
mainly in change, into her handbag for her to carry around.
