hen I’m not working, or running the mundane things in my life, or updating this site, you’ll often find me in my favourite parts of the United Kingdom.

You don’t have to travel a long distance to find areas of outstanding natural beauty: marrying an American has certainly proven this!

Living in York means that the North Yorkshire Moors are within an hour, and the Dales are only about half an hour further.

Scotland is just over two hours away by car and Edinburgh is almost dead on two hours by rail.

Heading the other way, Sherwood Forest is about two hours away.
