our
Kas met up at the Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent, for a meet. Bluewater is approximately 240 miles from
York - so this is the most distant meet that we’ve gone to.
Okay
- so I cannot pretend that we went all that way just to attend the
meeting. It is half of the reason!
The
Ka Klub organised an evening meeting at the Bluewater Shopping Centre.
So
Charlie and I left York about eight o’clock in the morning and took a leisurely
drive south. It took us almost two hours
to get from the M1 to the Dartford Crossing, probably because everybody had
turned out to see Kermit.
Four
Kas met up in the Coach Park, including S6YKA,
in the mizzle, and we had a natter for three hours.
Spooky
dropped off ICBM for Kermit, and we had a fiddle. ICBM flicks from green (healthy) to
yellow (discharging) momentarily, if you switch on several circuits (main
beam, rear fogs, dipped beam, heated front and rear screens) until the ECU
/ engine recovers. This will require
further investigation!
Of
course, we had the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping; although the trip
back to York wasn’t exactly fun (two hundred and forty miles, almost two
hundred in heavy rain).
